Authentic Hand Painted Calavera
Mezcal
-
Agave
Mezcal is an ensemble, that is, the union of two agaves to make a mezcal. It is composed of 30% Mexican Agave, which is a wild agave, and 70% espadín agave, which is domestic.
-
Cooked
Our mezcal is made by a master mezcalero, from a family with more than six generations of experience. It is made with a completely artisanal process, the stalk is cooked in an earthen oven and extracted with an Egyptian-type mill powerd by horse.
-
Finished
The mezcal is double distilled.
It is not barricado (it is mezcal, it is not tequila).
No sweeteners, flavors or any other type of chemicals are added.
Han Painted Skulls
The skulls are hand painted by indigenous artisans, who have been perfecting this art for generations. In Mexican culture, there is a belief that beauty can be found even in death, even when external signs of beauty have disappeared. That is why each art is unique and unrepeatable, because each artist captures personal experiences in their art. Even when the skulls are “naked,” the decorations on the bones confer aesthetic pleasure.
